SilibasePC-8500 Conditioning Agent has demonstrated superior conditioning effects on hair due to its unique chemical structure. This unique chemical structure allows for the combined benefits of a hydrophobic material with the ease of formulation with no additional solubilizers.
SilibasePC-8500 Conditioning Agent can be added to clear or opaque shampoo formulations without the need for pre-emulsification or the use of other suspending agents.
It can be heated and added at any stage of the manufacturing process.
SilibasePC-8500 Conditioning Agent has an excellent compatibility with cyclopentasiloxane and isododecane, and partial compatibility with ethanol, making it an excellent candidate for anhydrous systems such as fixatives and leave-in products.
SilibasePC-8500 Conditioning Agent is also easy to formulate in hydrous systems such as rinse-off conditioners and can be added at the beginning or at the end of the process. When SilibasePC-8500 Conditioning Agent is exposed to temperatures below 20℃ (68°F) the product will freeze and form white solid particles and eventually solidify. This is a reversible
phenomenon and should not affect product performance. It can be melted by heating above
25℃ (77°F)
